Classification and Policy Platform is looking for a Software Development Engineer to build technology to automate authoring of Standard Operating Procedures and sub sets domains based on machine trained datasets resulting in improving efficiencies that contribute directly to the top and bottom line of the stores organization.
Key job responsibilities
You will have an opportunity to work with cutting edge machine learning algorithms on large datasets and building self-service ML model training system using active learning techniques. Your will need to build Amazon scale ML applications running on Amazon Cloud that both leverage and create new technologies to process large volumes of data that derive patterns and conclusions from the data.- 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- 2+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
- 4+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience- 1+ years of big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR or Storm/Samza experience
- Good understanding of ML Ops, Agent based Gen AI concepts and training

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
