Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing strategic accounts and leading complex sales cycles — your experience includes working with Fortune 1000 companies and understanding their unique challenges. You possess strong communication skills and can effectively engage with CX, Operations, and Technology executives to drive sales of AI-native solutions. Your ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions is key to your success in this role.

You thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where curiosity and pragmatism are valued — you are comfortable navigating high-stakes discussions and can articulate the value of AI technologies in enhancing customer experience. Your strategic mindset allows you to identify opportunities for growth and develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of your clients.

You are results-oriented and have a history of exceeding sales targets — your approach is data-driven, and you leverage analytics to inform your strategies and decisions. You are also adept at building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships that drive mutual success.

Desirable

Experience in selling AI solutions or customer experience technologies is a plus — familiarity with conversational commerce, agent assist, and personalization will help you excel in this role. A background in technology sales, particularly within the telecom, healthcare, or retail sectors, will give you an edge in understanding the complexities of your clients' needs.

What you'll do

As the Senior Strategic Account Director for CX Solutions at Distyl AI, you will own a select number of strategic enterprise accounts — your primary responsibility will be to lead high-value sales cycles focused on selling our innovative customer experience solutions. You will engage with CX, Operations, and Technology executives to understand their challenges and present tailored AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

You will collaborate closely with our team of AI Engineers and Researchers to ensure that the solutions you propose are not only innovative but also practical and effective in addressing client needs. Your role will involve conducting in-depth needs assessments, crafting compelling proposals, and delivering presentations that highlight the value of our offerings.

You will also be responsible for managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing — this includes developing and executing account strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a smooth transition to implementation. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients will be crucial in fostering trust and ensuring long-term partnerships.

In addition to direct sales responsibilities, you will contribute to the overall strategy of the CX Solutions team — your insights and feedback will help shape our product offerings and go-to-market strategies. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with your team in the San Francisco office three days a week while also having the flexibility to work remotely.
