SpaceX is seeking a Build Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability of the Raptor engine program. You'll collaborate with various teams to drive improvements in manufacturing, testing, and flight operations. You have a strong background in reliability engineering, with experience in manufacturing and testing environments. You thrive in hands-on settings and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges. Your analytical skills allow you to dive deep into data to understand reliability factors and inform improvement projects. You are detail-oriented and can prioritize issues based on their consequences and risks. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to coordinate effectively with key stakeholders across various departments.
Experience in aerospace or automotive industries is a plus, as is familiarity with engine systems and manufacturing processes. A background in data analysis and problem-solving methodologies will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and processes that enhance reliability.
As a Build Reliability Engineer, you will be the primary reliability contact for the Raptor engine program, working closely with design, manufacturing, and testing teams. You will analyze data to identify reliability issues and develop corrective actions to improve performance. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that reliability considerations are integrated into all phases of the Raptor program. You will participate in root cause analysis and implement solutions that enhance the reliability of the engine and its components.
