Overview

NICE is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to enhance their omni-channel communication platform. You'll write, test, and maintain high-quality code while collaborating with teams across the UK and US. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in software testing.

Who you are

You have at least 5 years of experience in testing roles for software engineering teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of software quality assurance principles. Your background includes working in multidisciplinary teams, where you have honed your skills in delivering high-quality software within an Agile delivery framework. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication, especially with remote teams across different time zones. Your expertise in writing reusable code and libraries is complemented by your ability to write automated tests that ensure comprehensive test coverage. You are familiar with modern security standards and are committed to adhering to internal guidelines and industry best practices.

Desirable

Experience with tools such as Selenium for automated testing would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team. A proactive approach to low-level design definitions and a keen eye for detail will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for writing, testing, and maintaining code that meets the highest standards of quality. You will contribute actively to low-level design definitions and ensure that applications are built to modern security standards. Your role will involve writing automated tests to ensure that code has the appropriate level of test coverage, which is critical for maintaining the integrity of the software. You will participate in code reviews, both as a reviewer and reviewee, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Additionally, you will create and maintain the necessary documentation to support the software development lifecycle. Your collaboration with teams based in the UK and US will require excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with other professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions.
