SBS program team at Amazon India, is looking for a talented Senior Program Manager to scale Amazon SBS program aimed at offering services to vendors to improve their operations and accelerate their growth on the marketplace. Amazon SBS Services are a suite of services designed to help Amazon's most strategic vendors grow and deliver the best customer experience by working across all key retail levers (e.g. selection, availability, operational efficiency, catalog quality, and growth initiatives). The service is delivered primarily through SBS resources/specialists assigned to specific vendors. Amazon has an ambitious vision for the future of this service, focusing on business impact for vendors and the categories, operational scalability and vendor satisfaction.
As Senior Program Manager for SBS, you will manage a team of SBS resources/ Specialists to help deliver value to vendors subscribed to the service. Your priority will be to deliver on Amazon´s commitment to help vendors improve their performance across key retail metrics, ensure their satisfaction with the service and continuously improve the productivity of your team. You will work in close collaboration with Category Leaders and Managers to support the growth in the number of vendors subscribed to the service, understand their needs and define the right goals and targets. You will also work with central Vendor Experience (VX) team to scale the service via automation & WW best practices. Finally, you will be expected to contribute to continuous enhancements and innovation within the service.
You should be passionate about managing and developing people, highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, and tech-interested. You need to have a proven track record of delivering results through teams in fast-paced and dynamic business environments while managing the sometimes-conflicting needs of different groups of stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities as a Senior Program Manager for SBS:
- Partner with Cat Leads, Cat Managers and key category functions to support defining priorities and operational goals according to vendor needs
- Build & manage a team of SBS resources/Specialists owning the joint business plans for a large pool of vendors
- Audit metrics regularly to continually drive quality of vendor and employee experience across multiple sub-categories
- Define the skills required within the team to support your vendors with specific challenges
- Develop the right skillsets within the team and allocate resources to vendors
- Grow and develop people into a talent pool for Amazon
- Collaborate with category teams and WW AVS team to help enhance and grow the service
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to support the improvement of tools and productivity
- Help drive key business initiatives, managing the planning, development and roll-out
- Maintaining repository and control over financials
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
