Overview

Tide is seeking a Regulatory Risk & Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory frameworks and risk assessments. This role requires a strong background in risk and compliance, particularly in Regulatory Compliance.

Who you are

You have a strong background in risk and compliance, particularly in Regulatory Compliance, with experience managing regulatory frameworks and conducting risk assessments. You understand the intricacies of compliance management and regulatory reporting, and you are adept at responding to business inquiries while collaborating closely with various teams. Your experience in the financial services sector, especially with SMEs, equips you with the knowledge to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively.

You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to assess risks accurately and implement effective compliance strategies. Your communication skills enable you to articulate compliance requirements clearly to stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization. You are proactive in identifying potential compliance issues and are committed to continuous improvement in compliance processes.

Desirable

Experience with PPI licence applications or similar regulatory frameworks would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with the banking sector and a passion for helping SMEs thrive in a compliant manner are also desirable traits. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals and drive compliance initiatives forward.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key member of the Compliance team, playing a pivotal role in managing regulatory frameworks and conducting risk assessments. You will support regulatory reporting and compliance management, ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant regulations and standards. Your responsibilities will include responding to business inquiries related to compliance and providing guidance on regulatory matters.

You will collaborate closely with various teams, including operations and legal, to ensure that compliance processes are integrated into business practices. Your expertise will help shape the compliance strategy and ensure that the organization remains compliant with evolving regulations. You will also be responsible for conducting training sessions to educate employees about compliance requirements and best practices.
