Amazon is hiring a Project Engineer - Logistics to lead the launch of new delivery stations and optimize operational processes in Brazil. You'll work with AWS and AutoCAD to enhance the logistics network. This role requires experience in project management and engineering.
You have a strong background in project management and engineering, with experience in logistics and supply chain operations. You are innovative and hands-on, with a customer-obsessed mindset that drives you to exceed expectations. Your ability to coordinate with suppliers and vendors is exceptional, and you thrive in dynamic environments where you can lead projects from inception to completion. You are familiar with drafting test fit layouts and conducting site evaluations to ensure operational efficiency. Your technical skills include proficiency in AWS and AutoCAD, which you leverage to support the design and optimization of building infrastructure and material handling equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the launch of new delivery stations in Brazil, ensuring that all operational processes are implemented effectively. You will own the planning and implementation of the building launch schedule, coordinating closely with various stakeholders to ensure timely execution. Your responsibilities will include supporting the site selection process by drafting layouts and researching site-related information to identify potential issues. You will also prepare specifications and technical details to optimize the logistics network, ensuring that all systems are designed for maximum efficiency. Regular travel within Brazil and occasional international travel will be required as part of your role, allowing you to oversee projects on-site and collaborate with teams across different locations.
