Overview

Google is seeking an Account Executive for New Business Development to drive client relationships and sales strategies. You'll leverage your expertise in advertising solutions and fluency in English and German to support clients in Hamburg.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in an advertising sales or business development role. Your fluency in both English and German enables you to effectively manage client relationships in the region. You possess a strong understanding of the online advertising industry and local market dynamics, which allows you to provide valuable insights into both digital and traditional media. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and have excellent communication and influencing skills, enabling you to pitch advertising solutions effectively to a diverse range of clients.

Desirable

Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through tactical focus and execution is a plus. Familiarity with planning, delivering, and executing marketing campaigns, as well as measurement and creative strategy, will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Google, you will be responsible for consulting with clients to achieve their domestic and export online marketing and business goals. You will utilize the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions, including YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, and Google Display Network, to design effective marketing strategies that drive long-term success for your customers. Your role will involve educating clients about Google’s advertising solutions, pitching tailored strategies, and closing deals to meet their unique needs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a working strategy that aligns with client objectives. Your ability to build trusted relationships with customers will be crucial as you uncover their business needs and translate them into powerful solutions. You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and innovations, particularly in the AI-era of advertising, to ensure that you are providing the most relevant and effective solutions.
