Uber is seeking a Head of Brand Marketing Science to lead the quantification of brand marketing investments. You'll work closely with applied scientists and various teams to develop frameworks for measuring brand effectiveness. This role requires strong data-driven decision-making skills.
You have a strong background in brand marketing and data analysis, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. You excel at developing frameworks for measuring marketing effectiveness and have a deep understanding of brand health metrics. Your strategic mindset allows you to integrate data insights into high-level marketing strategies, guiding budget allocations effectively. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Media, Finance, Product, and Engineering, to drive impactful marketing initiatives. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex data findings to executive leadership in a clear and compelling manner. You are passionate about the intersection of creative storytelling and data-driven results, and you thrive in a collaborative environment.
Experience in a fast-paced tech environment is a plus, as is familiarity with various marketing channels, including traditional media, digital, and social platforms. A background in applied science or quantitative analysis will enhance your ability to lead a team of applied scientists effectively.
In this role, you will develop and champion a comprehensive framework for measuring brand marketing effectiveness across all channels. You will define key brand metrics such as awareness, consideration, preference, affinity, and purchase intent, establishing baselines and ongoing reporting mechanisms for brand health. You will lead the integration of brand measurement data with performance marketing and business financial data to create a holistic view of marketing impact. You will create and deliver regular reports and dashboards that communicate brand performance and ROI to executive leadership and cross-functional partners. As the primary marketing science advisor for annual brand planning, you will ensure that data-driven insights inform strategic decisions. You will oversee a team of applied scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
