Google is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud enterprise solutions. You'll work with GCP, Python, and various programming languages to support customer projects. This role requires 3 years of experience in infrastructure automation and cloud technologies.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 3 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery. You have a strong background in designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion. Your coding skills span one or more general-purpose languages such as Python, Java, Go, C, or C++, and you are well-versed in data structures, algorithms, and software design. You are familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) techniques, including prompt engineering and embedding vectors, and have experience running AI/ML workloads on GPUs or TPUs. Your knowledge extends to standard IT security practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and encryption. Additionally, you have experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team, guiding customers through their cloud journey to help businesses thrive. You will design and implement technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that align with business objectives. As a technical advisor, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers, ensuring their projects are successful. You will create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code to enhance customer understanding and usage of Google Cloud services. Your role may involve traveling up to 30% for in-region meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities, allowing you to engage directly with clients and provide tailored solutions.
