Coupang is seeking a Principal Compliance Manager for their Trust & Safety team to develop and refine brand integrity policies. This role focuses on protecting consumers and brands from IP risks, requiring strategic thinking and a proactive approach.
You have a strong background in compliance and policy formulation, ideally with over 5 years of experience in a related field. You possess an adversarial mindset, allowing you to identify potential vulnerabilities in systems and processes. Your analytical skills enable you to conduct deep-dive reviews to uncover root causes of IP infringements and process leaks. You are adept at designing and standardizing comprehensive IP protection policies that span across various business domains. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about building trust and safety within the e-commerce space. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and can integrate proactive and reactive risk management strategies effectively.
In this role, you will lead the formulation and refinement of IP policies that protect against counterfeits and intellectual property risks. You will conduct in-depth analyses to identify the root causes of IP infringements and ensure that policies are adapted to eliminate any gaps. You will manage end-to-end risk control processes, integrating proactive gating policies with reactive measures to minimize risks effectively.
