Overview

Relativity is seeking a Master NDE Inspector to ensure the integrity of rocket components through advanced inspection techniques. This role involves collaboration across teams to tackle challenges in novel manufacturing methods.

Who you are

You have a strong background in non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection methodologies, particularly in eddy current techniques. Your experience includes working with a variety of materials and components, ensuring quality and safety in manufacturing processes. You are detail-oriented and possess a problem-solving mindset, capable of addressing complex challenges in a fast-paced environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to uphold the highest standards of product integrity. Your ability to communicate effectively and share insights with cross-functional teams is essential to your success in this role.

Desirable

Experience with advanced inspection technologies and a solid understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes would be advantageous. Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance practices in the aerospace industry is a plus. What you'll do

As a Master NDE Inspector, you will lead the inspection efforts for the Terran R vehicle components, utilizing cutting-edge eddy current techniques to assess material integrity. You will develop and execute inspection plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will provide insights that inform design and manufacturing decisions, helping to refine processes and improve product quality. Your role will involve training and mentoring junior inspectors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the NDE team.
