Handshake is seeking Occupational Health and Safety Specialists to contribute to an AI training project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide feedback. This role is remote and flexible, requiring no prior AI experience.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in occupational health and safety, which equips you with the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background includes developing and implementing safety programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and investigating workplace incidents. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the evolving landscape of AI in your field. You understand the importance of clear communication and structured feedback, which will help enhance the AI's understanding of workplace tasks and language.
In this role, you will participate in an AI research project that requires you to evaluate the outputs of AI models based on your expertise in occupational health and safety. You will develop prompts that accurately reflect your field and assess the AI's responses to ensure they meet industry standards. Your feedback will be crucial in refining the AI's capabilities, making it a valuable tool for future applications in occupational health and safety.
