We are seeking a principal Technical Program Manager (TPM), to lead will lead program management to build the future of Verification technology for Amazon’s worldwide sellers. The optimal candidate should be experienced in managing cross-cutting technical products and projects with industry-wide impact. You will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmap, using incremental delivery methods. You have experience working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment, driven cross-group teams spread across multiple geographies and handled communication from engineers to VPs. We expect you to write strategic documents and influence large groups of senior stakeholders. You are able turn ambiguous problems into simple solutions. A successful candidate for this possesses superb business judgment, a high degree of customer-obsession, has a track record of delivering results, is strong on collaboration, and is data driven.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with engineering, product management, operations, marketing, legal, etc. to deliver the Hiring solution, globally.
• Manage complex cross team programs from ideation to delivery.
• Create transparency and predictability with roadmaps, planning, and partner management.
• Manage delivery schedules and emergent tasks while mitigating risks, managing tradeoffs, and eliminating blockers.
• Participate in architectural decisions, surfacing and mitigating technical risks, driving complex integrations with internal and 3rd party solutions, retiring technical debt, and identifying. opportunity to create operational efficiencies.
• Set and embody the team culture and standards consistent with Amazon’s leadership principals.
• Drive alignment with leadership in recruiting and partner tech teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
