Enviva is hiring a Quality Technician to ensure product compliance with quality standards through sampling and testing. You'll utilize electronic systems for data management and communication of quality issues. This role requires proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
You have a minimum of two years of experience in a quality assurance or technician role, demonstrating your ability to conduct thorough testing and sampling of materials. You are adept at using various electronic systems and databases for recording and analyzing quality testing results. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain accurate records and follow proper workflow procedures. You understand the importance of safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the lab environment. You are proactive in investigating quality issues and proposing solutions to improve processes. Your communication skills enable you to effectively report quality issues and initiate necessary protocols.
As a Quality Technician at Enviva, you will be responsible for sampling and testing raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and environmental samples to ensure compliance with client specifications. You will follow written procedures meticulously to maintain quality standards. Your role will involve using electronic systems for data storage and analysis, ensuring that all quality testing results are accurately recorded. You will investigate solutions to quality issues and propose or test ideas for quality improvements. Additionally, you will perform special-project tests to identify the sources of quality issues or to explore potential quality solutions. Maintaining lab equipment and ensuring timely calibration will also be part of your responsibilities.
