Flex is seeking a Staff Product Designer to enhance the rent payment experience for consumers. You'll collaborate with the risk team to create accessible financial services, utilizing your design skills in interaction and visual design. This role requires a strong background in product design.
You have extensive experience in product design, ideally with a focus on financial services or consumer products. Your design thinking skills are complemented by a strong ability in interaction design and visual design, allowing you to create user-friendly solutions that address complex problems. You are passionate about improving the lives of users, particularly those facing financial hardships, and you understand the importance of creating accessible and fair financial services. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable taking ownership of projects from conception to execution. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working alongside product managers and engineers to bring your designs to life. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of user experience principles, which you apply to every project you undertake.
As a Staff Product Designer at Flex, you will lead design initiatives that aim to transform the rent payment experience for consumers. You will partner closely with the risk team to ensure that the solutions you design are not only innovative but also protect the business while providing value to users. Your role will involve conducting user research to understand the needs and pain points of renters, and using those insights to inform your design decisions. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your vision. You will also be responsible for presenting your designs to stakeholders and incorporating feedback to refine your work. Collaboration will be key, as you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that your designs are implemented effectively and meet the needs of users. You will stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the design process and outcomes.
