MongoDB is seeking a Principal Partner Specialist to drive partner awareness and channel new business. You'll collaborate with Global and Regional System Integrators and Cloud Partners to enhance sales strategies. This role requires strong experience in partner management and sales.
You have a proven track record in partner management and sales, with at least 5 years of experience driving business growth through strategic partnerships. Your energy and initiative are evident in your ability to engage with Global and Regional System Integrators and Cloud Partners, fostering relationships that lead to mutual success. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales teams to exceed booking objectives and drive pipeline generation. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute effective partner strategies tailored to specific regions, such as NY/NJ.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both internal teams and external partners. Your ability to nurture and empower partners is key to creating growth opportunities and enhancing their sales capabilities. You are proactive in identifying and qualifying potential partners, ensuring a robust sales pipeline that contributes to overall business objectives. You are comfortable working in a hybrid model, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work.
Experience in the technology sector, particularly with database solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with sales enablement programs and partner engagement initiatives will set you apart. You are adaptable and open to learning, continuously seeking ways to improve partner relationships and sales strategies.
In this role, you will drive incremental value for the field sales team by engaging with partners to formulate and execute a pipeline generation strategy. You will develop a strategic SI partner strategy for the NY/NJ region, focusing on recruiting, nurturing, and empowering partners to create mutually beneficial relationships. Your responsibilities will include proactively prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and growing a sales pipeline through these partners.
You will collaborate closely with the Sales team to close business and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual booking objectives. Leading engagement initiatives will be crucial to enhancing SI partners’ sales, pre-sales, and delivery capabilities, helping them achieve new certifications and expand their impact. You will facilitate strong collaboration between MongoDB sales teams and cloud partners to deliver on sales strategies, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and Solution Architects.
MongoDB offers a competitive salary range for this role in the U.S., between $129,600 and $162,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, a 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, and access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage.
