Apple is seeking a Display Electrical Hardware Architect/Engineer to design next-generation display technologies for its products. You'll work on integrating display subsystems and require experience in electrical engineering fundamentals. This role demands strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BS) and at least three years of relevant industry experience. Your background includes a solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, particularly in analog, mixed-signal, and digital design, as well as power electronics. You possess experience with complex system design and have a keen interest in display technologies. Your strong mathematical and analytical skills enable you to tackle challenging engineering problems effectively.
You have hands-on laboratory experience, including silicon debugging, IC characterization, and system validation. Your prior knowledge of display and touch hardware technologies sets you apart, as does your familiarity with analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including op amps, ADCs, DACs, and power management solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of display technology.
A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field would be advantageous, as would any additional experience in leading projects or mentoring junior engineers. Familiarity with the latest trends in display technology and a passion for creating cutting-edge solutions will enhance your candidacy.
In this role, you will architect next-generation display technologies for Apple products, contributing to the development of groundbreaking display solutions. You will be responsible for designing display subsystems that integrate seamlessly into Apple devices, ensuring harmonious interaction among critical display module subsystems, including the panel, touch IC, power supply, timing controller, and row- and column-driver ICs. Your work will involve drafting electrical engineering specifications for display modules, which will guide the manufacturing process.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical insights into manufacturable hardware, ensuring that your designs meet both performance and efficiency standards. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest innovations in display technology, allowing you to invent original concepts that redefine visual performance and power efficiency.
Apple is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on the future of technology. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value curiosity and a growth mindset. Join us in shaping the future of display technology at Apple.
