What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the SWE Speech team at Apple, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art machine learning technologies for speech understanding, generation, and interaction. You will work on building scalable infrastructure and high-quality datasets that power Siri, Dictation, and other speech-enabled features. Your role will involve advancing the latest ML techniques and translating them into production systems that enhance user interactions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring research to production, ensuring that the solutions you develop are robust and scalable. Your work will directly impact the Siri experience for millions of users worldwide, and you will have the opportunity to shape the future of intelligent, natural interactions.

In this role, you will also be involved in the entire lifecycle of machine learning projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model training and evaluation. You will leverage your expertise in Python and popular ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch to implement and optimize machine learning models.
