Overview

Afero is hiring a Firmware Engineer in Test to design and develop test frameworks for system firmware on hardware platforms. You'll work closely with engineering and product teams, requiring skills in Embedded Linux, C, and C++. This role is based in Los Altos, CA.

You have a strong background in firmware testing and development, with experience in designing and deploying test frameworks for complex systems. Your expertise in Embedded Linux, C, and C++ allows you to navigate the intricacies of hardware platforms effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality releases. Your problem-solving skills enable you to dig into complex issues independently, and you are enthusiastic about building innovative solutions that enhance product effectiveness.

You understand the importance of quality assurance in the development process and have a track record of contributing to the overall quality of products. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures that you can advocate for QA best practices and influence product development positively. Desirable
