Amazon is hiring a Marketplace Consultant to manage a portfolio of Sellers and drive their growth through data-driven strategies. You'll leverage AI tools and analytical insights to enhance Seller satisfaction and performance. This role requires strong portfolio management and analytical skills.
You have experience in managing client portfolios, ideally within a marketplace or e-commerce environment — you understand the nuances of Seller dynamics and can develop tailored strategies to meet their unique needs. Your analytical skills are strong, allowing you to produce profound business analyses that drive decision-making and strategy. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and coordinating across teams to achieve common goals. You are proactive in identifying untapped potential and have a knack for recruiting and onboarding new Sellers to expand the program's reach. You are familiar with leveraging AI tools to streamline tasks and enhance productivity, ensuring that you stay ahead in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in international expansion strategies or brand building would be a plus, as would familiarity with operational challenges faced by third-party sellers in a marketplace. A background in data-driven consultancy or strategic account management will help you excel in this role.
As a Marketplace Consultant at Amazon, you will independently manage a portfolio of up to 15 Sellers, developing individual strategies to drive their growth and satisfaction. You will work backwards from their targets, creating joint roadmaps that align with their business objectives. Your role will involve running business analyses to identify opportunities for optimization in areas such as product presentation, promotions, and fulfillment. You will address operational challenges faced by Sellers, providing them with strategic consultancy that maximizes their potential on the Amazon platform. You will also be responsible for onboarding new Sellers, helping them navigate the complexities of the marketplace and ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key, as you will need to coordinate efforts to launch programs and initiatives that benefit your Sellers. Your insights will help shape the direction of the Strategic Account Services team, contributing to the overall success of Amazon's marketplace.
Amazon provides comprehensive onboarding and training to ensure you are well-equipped for your role. You will have access to a wealth of resources and support as you develop your skills and grow within the company. The culture at Amazon encourages innovation and collaboration, allowing you to work alongside talented professionals who are dedicated to helping Sellers thrive. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of your Sellers and contribute to the growth of Amazon's marketplace. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your unique perspective and skills could be just what we need.
