Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with multiple stakeholders and manage pricing negotiations. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, and you are comfortable negotiating pricing and terms with executives and CXOs. You thrive in a remote work environment and are able to adapt your communication style to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
You are results-driven and have a strong understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape, which allows you to articulate the value of sensor data and connected operations to potential clients. Your ability to build relationships and trust with customers is key to your success, and you are motivated by the opportunity to help organizations improve their operations through innovative technology.
Experience in the technology sector, particularly in IoT or related fields, is a plus. Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems will help you manage your pipeline effectively. You are also open to learning and adapting to new technologies that can enhance your sales approach.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their operational challenges and demonstrate how our products can provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and safety. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts (POCs) and trials effectively.
You will work closely with various stakeholders within customer organizations, including executives and decision-makers, to navigate the sales process and address any concerns they may have. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, managing trials, and negotiating pricing to close deals successfully.
You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development and that the sales process is streamlined. Your insights will be valuable in shaping our approach to the market and enhancing our offerings.
