Airwallex is hiring a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to develop and maintain their unified payments and financial platform. You'll work with Java and Spring to build scalable backend services. This position requires strong backend engineering experience.
You have 3+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building scalable systems that handle high transaction volumes. Your expertise in Java and Spring allows you to create robust APIs that integrate seamlessly with various services. You understand the importance of system architecture and have experience in optimizing performance and reliability. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are motivated by challenges and have a strong desire to learn and grow in your role. You are comfortable with agile methodologies and have experience in participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus. Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker will set you apart. Knowledge of database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL, will be beneficial. You have a keen interest in fintech and are excited about the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a Backend Engineer at Airwallex, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that support our payment processing platform.
