Overview

Coupang is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead improvements and innovations in the customer experience for their shopping platform in Taiwan. You'll collaborate with designers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to enhance the mobile app and website. This role requires strong product management skills and a focus on customer experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the e-commerce or retail sectors — you understand the nuances of customer experience and how to drive engagement through innovative solutions. Your background includes working closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and data analysts, to deliver impactful products that resonate with users. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform product decisions and prioritize features that enhance user satisfaction.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously — your organizational skills allow you to keep track of timelines and deliverables while ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and are always looking for ways to improve and innovate.

Desirable

Experience in mobile app development or web-based platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with A/B testing and user research methodologies. You have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape in e-commerce and can identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. You are comfortable using project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes and enhance team collaboration.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Customer Experience product team at Coupang, focusing on enhancing the shopping experience for users in Taiwan. You will collaborate with designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces for both the mobile app and website, ensuring that the user journey is seamless and enjoyable. You will work closely with data analysts to gather insights and feedback, using this information to inform product development and prioritize features that drive customer acquisition and retention.

You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap and managing the lifecycle of new features from ideation through launch. This includes conducting user research to understand pain points and opportunities, as well as analyzing metrics to measure the success of implemented changes. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including marketing and engineering teams, to ensure that product launches are executed smoothly and align with overall business objectives.

You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging team members to share ideas and experiment with new approaches to enhance the customer experience. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team's success and ensuring that Coupang continues to deliver exceptional value to its customers.
