What you'll do

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Verkada, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our cloud-managed intercom systems. You will collaborate closely with a small, dynamic team of engineers to create a product that allows customers to receive calls from anywhere, integrating rich video and two-way audio capabilities. Your role will involve translating product requirements into functional and appealing interactive applications, ensuring that the user interface is intuitive and responsive.

You will take ownership of the frontend development process, from initial design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. This includes writing clean, maintainable code and conducting thorough testing to ensure the highest quality standards. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will engage in regular discussions with product managers and designers to align on project goals and timelines. You will contribute to the overall product strategy, leveraging your expertise to inform decisions about features and functionality.
