Esri is seeking a Senior Product Engineer specializing in Cloud Automation to enhance the deployment and management of ArcGIS Enterprise. You'll work with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes to develop advanced automation tools. This role requires 5+ years of experience in cloud technologies.
You have over 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, particularly in automation and deployment processes. Your technical depth allows you to evaluate and improve the quality, scalability, and performance of cloud automation technologies. You possess strong problem-solving skills and can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure that automation aligns with customer needs and usability standards. You stay ahead of fast-evolving cloud technologies and are adept at turning user requirements into actionable development and testing plans.
Your experience includes working with Kubernetes environments and leading cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure. You have a keen eye for design and can refine user experiences for automation tools, emphasizing clarity, simplicity, and maintainability. You are also skilled in documenting and communicating the proper use of cloud automation technology through clear documentation, demos, presentations, and blogs.
Familiarity with emerging cloud and containerization trends is a plus, as it helps you identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in automation processes. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and can adapt to the needs of various stakeholders.
In this role, you will partner closely with software developers and product engineers to ensure that Esri's automation technology is high-quality, reliable, and user-focused. You will evaluate and improve the existing cloud and Kubernetes automation technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align automation with customer needs and deployment best practices. Your responsibilities will include gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing user requirements, turning them into actionable development and testing plans.
