Software Engineer III, AI/ML, Search, Places Ranking

Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. You have a solid understanding of implementing and managing comprehensive logging solutions in production environments. With at least 1 year of experience in machine learning, you are familiar with areas such as speech/audio technology, reinforcement learning, and ML infrastructure. You may also hold a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, and have experience building generative AI models. Your analytical skills are excellent, and you possess strong written and verbal communication abilities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect and interact with information. You will triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations. You will implement solutions in specialized ML areas, utilize ML infrastructure, and contribute to model optimization and data processing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality, ranking, and recommendations of Google's products, ensuring they handle information at massive scale.
