We are seeking a Production Finance Analyst to partner with the Prime Video teams responsible for Live Sports.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Finance Analyst to join our Sports Production Finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing financial operations, vendor relationships, and budget tracking for our sports production initiatives. The candidate must operate in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, have the ability to execute tasks efficiently, troubleshoot challenges, and communicate effectively. The role requires a self-starter, who is able to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Production, Finance, and Accounting.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end vendor management, including onboarding, documentation verification, and relationship maintenance
- Process and reconcile invoices against purchase orders, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Monitor and track production expenses across multiple projects and properties
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain accurate budget tracking and cost allocation
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making
- Maintain detailed financial records and documentation- 1+ years of finance experience
- 1+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
- Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting or related field- Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
- Knowledge of finance, accounting or related field focused on analytics
- Experience in financial/business analysis
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
