Who you are

You are an entry-level technician with a strong interest in welding and fabrication. You have an associate's degree from a technical college and experience with hand tools, band saws, or similar equipment. You are eager to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the innovative work at SpaceX. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in a workshop setting and are committed to continuous improvement in your work processes.

What you'll do

As an Apprentice Weld Support Technician, you will be responsible for executing the activities of the weld support team. This includes plasma table programming, operating band saws and chop saws, and manually drilling and milling materials. You will analyze engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of cut parts, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with your team to solve problems, meet deadlines, and improve operations. Additionally, you will obtain and maintain any necessary licenses, operator permits, or certifications required for your role.
