SpaceX is hiring a Security Officer 3 to ensure the safety and security of its facilities at Starbase, TX. This role requires extensive experience in military, law enforcement, or corporate security, with responsibilities including conducting risk assessments and emergency response.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and bring over 8 years of experience in military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security. Your background includes at least 1 year of executive protection and mobile asset security, showcasing your ability to operate effectively in high-stakes environments. You are a dedicated security professional who can work independently and as part of a team, thriving in a fast-paced high-tech environment. Your proficiency in maintaining awareness of static guard post duties and conducting advanced security training for fellow officers sets you apart. You are skilled in conducting and reviewing risk assessments of critical facilities, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling SpaceX properties via vehicle and foot, ensuring security at various fixed locations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws as well as company regulations. You will plan and conduct advanced security training for all security officers, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the security team. Your role will involve conducting advanced research and analysis to support SpaceX security missions, responding to emergency situations, and providing on-scene leadership to others. You will also plan and coordinate domestic flight hardware transportation operations, ensuring that all logistics are handled securely and efficiently. As a liaison with law enforcement, community leaders, and key stakeholders in the space industry, you will play a crucial role in maintaining relationships that support SpaceX's mission.
