You possess a keen eye for detail and are adept at monitoring production plans, resolving issues as they arise, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that raw materials and consumables are available when needed. Your experience in training new associates equips you to effectively onboard team members, ensuring they understand their roles and the safety procedures necessary for a successful operation.

What you'll do

As the Production Lead at HelloFresh, you will report directly to the Production Manager and play a crucial role in shaping the culture and performance of the production team. You will be responsible for executing the directives set by the production, manufacturing, and sanitation teams, ensuring that all procedures are followed consistently. Your leadership will be key in driving improvements in productivity and operational efficiency, as you monitor the delivery of the production plan and communicate necessary changes to all stakeholders.

You will supervise and coordinate the activities of production associates, overseeing tasks related to kitting, processing, packaging, testing, and grading of food products. Your role will involve assessing employee performance against daily production targets and providing feedback to help them grow and succeed in their roles. You will also ensure that all production areas and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the day and at the end of each shift.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will work closely with the receiving team to ensure that portioning, kitting, and other preparatory tasks are executed smoothly. Your ability to communicate effectively with your team and other departments will be essential in maintaining a seamless production flow. You will be expected to resolve work problems proactively, recommending measures to enhance productivity and efficiency on the production lines.
