Accela • US Based - Remote
Accela is seeking an Account Director to drive sales strategy and manage key accounts. You'll work on developing new business and maintaining customer relationships across California and Nevada. This role requires a strategic mindset and experience in sales management.
You have a strategic mindset and an ownership mentality, effectively guiding and directing others to enhance the growth and viability of your territory. With a strong background in sales, you are adept at managing and growing key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. You excel at identifying and progressing new business with top prospects, developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets. Your ability to build relationships with key decision-makers in existing and prospect organizations sets you apart. You understand business issues and can create solutions tailored to customer needs, advising and consulting them through the sales process.
Experience in the technology sector or with SaaS products is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas will be beneficial.
As the Account Director, you will drive the overall sales strategy, coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure the successful execution of all sales initiatives within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for researching, developing, and securing net new business while maintaining, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities within your designated territory for all product offerings. You will work closely with a cross-functional regional sales team to align strategies and share insights. Your role will involve owning your pipeline to ensure long-term, consistent performance in quarterly and annual quota achievement. You will also develop an understanding of customer needs and business challenges, allowing you to propose effective solutions that drive customer success.
