Cyberhaven is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to drive and evolve their product architecture. You'll work with technologies like Go and Kubernetes to solve complex scaling challenges. This role requires significant experience in backend development at scale.
You have a strong track record in building backends that are actively used at scale — you've contributed significantly to and extended their architecture, ensuring they meet the demands of real-world applications. Your experience developing large applications in Go has equipped you with the skills to tackle complex challenges effectively. You have utilized databases at a very large scale, demonstrating your ability to manage and optimize data flows efficiently. Knowledge of GCP services is a plus, as it complements your backend expertise. You are adept at profiling and optimizing distributed code, particularly in environments that utilize large databases and streaming platforms. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by a keen understanding of security practices, allowing you to write secure-by-design software that withstands real-world attacks.
Experience with microservices architecture and familiarity with security products will enhance your contributions to our team. A background in performance analysis and troubleshooting will be beneficial as you work on optimizing our systems.
In this role, you will design, extend, and optimize a large-scale, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant system that handles large graph datasets at enterprise scale. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing security products that protect customer data, ensuring that our solutions are robust and reliable. Your work will involve solving real-world scaling problems that require thorough performance analysis and troubleshooting skills. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to develop a modern microservices-based software stack, utilizing technologies such as Go, Kubernetes, and various GCP services. Your contributions will directly impact the architecture and performance of our systems, as you work to process billions of events from hundreds of thousands of endpoints in real-time with sub-second latency requirements.
