Amazon is looking for a US Payroll Analyst – Data Admin with analytical skills and good eye for the details to join the Payroll Operations group. The US Payroll Analyst – Data Admin role perform activities across US and international payroll functions relative to the assigned areas of responsibilities including data compilation and support to management and employees on a range of payroll related matters.
Key job responsibilities
- Perform data entry and review of employee and payroll related information
- Process payroll utilizing Vendor payroll software
- Review, process and maintain accurate timesheet input records of employees
- Process manual check calculations, work with the vendor to process stop payments/reversals, enter paycheck card entries and assist with check distribution.
- Produce timely responses to resolve employee inquiries
- Perform adhoc payroll activities and projects and be willing to be cross-skilled and move to other payroll tasks as needed- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or any related field
- Experience in data entry and review functions
- Proficiency with MS Office Word and Excel applications
- Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details
- Flexible to work on weekend and night shift- US Payroll experience (for 6 months or more is preferred but not required)
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus but not required
- Project Management/Project Team Membership is a plus
- Other region payroll experience a plus
