Okta is seeking a Senior Developer Marketing Specialist to build marketing strategies for Auth0 Developers. You'll collaborate with various teams to drive customer acquisition and advocate for developer-centric features. This role requires deep knowledge of the identity landscape and marketing experience.
You have a strong background in marketing, particularly in developing strategies that resonate with developers and technical audiences. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives that drive customer acquisition and engagement. You are a lifelong learner who thrives on understanding complex products and translating that knowledge into compelling marketing content. You are comfortable advocating for developer-centric features and can effectively communicate the value of products like Auth0 to various stakeholders.
You possess a deep understanding of the identity landscape and can articulate how Auth0 solutions support startups, developers, and nonprofit organizations. Your ability to create market-validated content, including web copy, demos, and videos, sets you apart. You are adept at using data to inform your marketing strategies and are always looking for ways to improve the developer experience.
Experience in the identity or authentication space is a plus, as is familiarity with developer-led growth strategies. You are comfortable with various marketing channels, including social media, webinars, and content marketing, and have a knack for storytelling that engages technical audiences.
In this role, you will build and execute the marketing strategy for Auth0 Developers, ensuring alignment with the broader marketing and product teams. You will act as a bridge between the marketing teams and the Developer Led Growth (DLG) Self Service team, focusing on maximizing DLG funnel goals. Your responsibilities will include partnering with marketing for nurture campaigns, webinars, and social media initiatives that effectively communicate how Auth0 supports its users.
You will champion the developer experience by advocating for Auth0’s developer-centric features both internally and externally. This includes leading product and feature launches and creating content that resonates with developers. Staying informed about the latest trends in the identity landscape and understanding developer use cases will be crucial to your success in this role.
You will also be responsible for creating, rolling out, and maintaining non-technical content that showcases the value of Auth0. This may involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the messaging is consistent and impactful across all platforms. Your role will require you to analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies based on performance data.
