Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager for YouTube Ads to guide products from conception to launch. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering and UX/UI teams, leveraging skills in data analysis and technical leadership. This role requires 5+ years of experience in product management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience in product management. You have a proven track record of taking technical products from conception to launch, demonstrating your ability to guide products through the entire execution cycle. Your experience includes at least 2 years of data analysis or experiment analysis, allowing you to make informed decisions based on metrics and user feedback. You are comfortable preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. You have worked cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of product development are aligned and executed smoothly. Your background includes at least 2 years of experience with Ads, giving you a solid understanding of the advertising landscape and its challenges. You also have experience in technical leadership, which has equipped you with the skills to guide teams and drive projects forward.
A Master's degree in a technology or business-related field would be a plus, enhancing your qualifications for this role. Experience in a role that requires collaboration with creative engineers, designers, and marketers is also desirable, as it aligns with the collaborative nature of product management at Google.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development, ensuring that the products you manage meet user needs and business goals. You will collaborate with core ads infrastructure teams to evolve models and systems, focusing on improving the performance of ad solutions on the Watch Page. Your responsibilities will include running A/B tests and analyzing results to identify launch candidates that deliver value. You will partner with go-to-market, measurement, and overall YouTube consumer product teams to ensure the successful launch and adoption of new features. Your role will require you to stay adaptable and continuously learn, as the world of product management is always changing. You will be responsible for analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring products to meet the needs of users and stakeholders alike.
