Tailor is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to design and build composable ERP modules that solve operational problems for various businesses. You'll work with GraphQL APIs and React frontends, contributing to a pioneering Headless ERP technology. This role requires experience in full-stack development.
You have a strong background in full-stack development, with experience in building software that runs real business processes rather than just user-facing features. You are comfortable designing and implementing GraphQL APIs and have a solid understanding of React for frontend development. Your familiarity with existing ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, or Odoo is a strong plus, as is your ability to work asynchronously across different time zones. You are pragmatic about architecture, knowing when to abstract and when to keep things simple, and you care about solving complex real-world problems.
As a Senior Applications Engineer at Tailor, you will be responsible for designing and building composable ERP modules that address operational challenges faced by retailers, manufacturers, and B2B businesses. You will work across the stack, from developing GraphQL APIs and business logic to creating React frontends using our AppShell framework. Your role will involve creating reference implementations that serve as both working products and blueprints for customer deployments. Occasionally, you will embed with forward-deployed teams to support customer go-lives and bring valuable insights back into the module library. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the modules you build are effective and meet the needs of our customers.
