Schonfeld is seeking a Paralegal to support their legal team in London. You'll assist with file management, project tracking, and corporate maintenance while utilizing AI tools and legal software. This role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Law or GDL.
You have 3+ years of relevant experience in a legal environment, ideally as a paralegal, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law or GDL. You are highly self-motivated, organized, and attentive to detail, with the ability to manage a diverse workload in a fast-paced corporate environment. Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with lawyers and other paralegals. You are technologically minded and have a passion for utilizing AI tools for document and project management, ensuring efficiency in your work.
In this role, you will assist with file management and project tracking, using the latest AI tools and legal matter management software to streamline processes. You will organize Legal/KYC folders and documents for Schonfeld’s international legal team and markets practice areas, ensuring that all materials are easily accessible and well-maintained. You will handle entity formation and ongoing corporate maintenance across Schonfeld’s international entities, which requires a keen understanding of corporate law and compliance. Additionally, you will assist with trading agreements for counterparties, execution brokers, and banks, as well as equity and debt capital markets within the markets practice area. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and coordinating the execution and filing of vendor agreements, NDAs, and other corporate documents, ensuring that all legal requirements are met. You will play a key role in the deployment of AI tools within the Legal department, contributing to the modernization of legal processes.
