Carvana is seeking a Detail Line Lead to manage and develop a team in their Inspection Center. You'll oversee production targets and ensure quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership and operational management skills.
You have experience in a supervisory role, ideally within an operations or production environment — you understand how to manage teams effectively and drive performance. You are skilled at identifying team strengths and weaknesses, and you know how to motivate your team to achieve production goals. You are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all operations, ensuring that every vehicle meets the rigorous standards set by Carvana.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage with your team and provide clear direction. You are proactive in addressing challenges and finding solutions that enhance productivity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that operations run smoothly.
Experience in the automotive industry or a similar field would be beneficial, as would familiarity with vehicle inspection processes. A background in quality control or production management would also be advantageous.
As the Detail Line Lead, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that vehicles are processed efficiently and meet quality standards. You will oversee the movement of cars into and out of the center, coordinating with your team to meet production targets. You will engage with your team regularly, providing feedback and support to help them improve their performance.
You will analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and quality. You will also be responsible for training new team members, ensuring they understand the processes and standards required in the Inspection Center. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive team environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute.
