Coupang is hiring a Senior/Staff Web Engineer for their Streaming Player team to design and enhance web-based streaming services. You'll work with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React to deliver high-performance streaming experiences. This role requires at least 4 years of software development experience.
You have a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 4 years of experience in software development using JavaScript and TypeScript. You are skilled in designing scalable and flexible architectures that support advanced streaming features like live time machines and multi-view capabilities. Your experience includes conducting technical analyses and iterative improvements to enhance streaming performance metrics such as start time and rebuffering rates. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver the best streaming quality and user experience. You are data-driven, using metrics to guide your decisions and improvements. You are eager to tackle challenging problems and contribute to a fast-moving team that values innovation and excellence.
