Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the AWS Training and Certification team to lead product strategies focused on enhancing user experiences. You'll work closely with developers and designers, leveraging AWS technologies to solve customer problems. This role requires strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in technical environments, where you've successfully led product strategies that align with user needs and business goals. Your strong business judgment and exceptional problem-solving skills enable you to navigate complex challenges effectively. You possess a deep understanding of AWS technologies and industry trends, allowing you to envision innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences. You are adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams. Your experience working closely with developers and designers has equipped you with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable product features. You thrive in environments that require a balance of technical expertise and strategic thinking, and you are passionate about transforming education through technology.
Experience with Generative AI and its application in educational contexts would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with internal tooling for productivity and sales delivery is also desirable, as is a background in user experience design principles.
In this role, you will define the product vision and strategy for AWS Training and Certification’s Skill Builder Core Services team, focusing on internal tooling that enhances productivity and sales delivery. You will collaborate with a team of product managers to align the overall product roadmap, ensuring that it meets the needs of both users and the business. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to understand customer pain points and developing solutions that simplify their experiences with AWS technologies. You will work closely with engineering and design teams to build services that provide delightful access experiences for users. Additionally, you will engage with executive leaders and AWS Field and Service teams to drive innovation and ensure that customer needs are met effectively. Your role will also involve monitoring industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product development and maintain a competitive edge.
