Hibu is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to provide legal support across various departments, including contracts and employment matters. This role requires 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
You are an experienced attorney with 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal department. You have a strong background in contracts and employment law, and you are comfortable consulting with stakeholders across various departments including Commercial, Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance. You understand the nuances of advising on employment matters across multiple jurisdictions and are skilled in the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. You are also adaptable and thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing time between the office and remote work.
As the Associate Corporate Counsel at Hibu, you will report directly to the General Counsel and play a crucial role in providing legal support to various departments. You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, ensuring that all contracts align with the company's objectives and legal standards. You will advise on employment matters, helping to navigate the complexities of hiring, performance management, and compliance with employment laws across different jurisdictions.
