Overview

DoorDash is hiring a Voice Ordering Accessibility Representative to support the needs of partner Merchants and customers. You'll assist with live order calls and ensure a positive ordering experience for accessibility needs customers. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and is based in Tempe, AZ.

Job Description

Who you are

You are excited about joining DoorDash's Voice Ordering Live Operations team as a Voice Ordering Accessibility Representative. You have a strong desire to support the needs of DoorDash's partner Merchants and customers, particularly those with accessibility needs. You are adaptable and willing to work varying schedules, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of a 24/7 operation. You understand the importance of compliance and are committed to following strict policies regarding cell phone usage while at work.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to develop expertise in DoorDash's processes and systems. You are dedicated to creating the best ordering experience for customers with accessibility needs, including visually impaired customers. You are detail-oriented and capable of securely updating important account information for these customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support inbound live order calls for DoorDash's partner Merchants and customers. You will develop a deep understanding of how DoorDash operates to promote positive outcomes for all users. Your primary responsibility will be to assist accessibility needs customers with accurate order placement and provide local restaurant recommendations. You will work closely with the Voice Ordering Team Supervisor to ensure that all customer interactions are handled with care and professionalism.

You will be part of a diverse team that is passionate about enhancing the food ordering experience. Your contributions will directly impact the satisfaction of customers who rely on accessibility features. You will be expected to go above and beyond in your role, demonstrating a commitment to customer service excellence and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.
