Critical Environment Technician

Who you are

As a Critical Environment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the critical infrastructure that supports Microsoft's Datacenters. You have a hands-on understanding of how critical environment equipment operates and can recognize safe versus unsafe work environments. You are comfortable working shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and are committed to ensuring the reliability of cloud services.

You possess strong coordination skills, enabling you to effectively work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally. You are proactive in recognizing potential issues and responding to onsite incidents while collaborating with other critical facilities professionals. Your attention to detail and ability to monitor equipment performance using telemetry and other platforms are key to your success in this role.

Desirable

Experience in a technical or maintenance role is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud operations or data center environments. You are eager to learn and grow within the Microsoft Cloud Operations & Innovation team, taking advantage of training and professional development opportunities.

What you'll do

Your role is essential in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Azure, Office 365, and more.
