Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Principal MMIC Design Engineer to develop advanced MMICs/RFICs for national security applications. You'll work with GaAs and GaN processes in a collaborative environment focused on rapid iteration and deployment. This role requires expertise in RF and mixed-signal design.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in MMIC design, particularly in analog, mixed-signal, and RF applications. Your background includes working with GaAs and GaN processes, and you are adept at developing products from initial specifications to mass production. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about solving complex engineering challenges. You understand the importance of ensuring full compatibility of MMIC/RFIC subsystems within larger systems, and you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs under tight deadlines. You are comfortable with simulation and modeling of RF circuits and systems, and you have a strong grasp of the latest technologies in the field.

Desirable

Experience with phased array payloads and reflector systems is a plus. Familiarity with the latest advancements in space technology and national security applications will enhance your candidacy. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in fast-paced settings and can adapt quickly to changing project requirements.

What you'll do

As a Principal MMIC Design Engineer at SpaceX, you will lead the development of cutting-edge MMIC products for both space and ground infrastructures. Your responsibilities will include deriving specifications for MMIC/RFIC subsystems and circuits, ensuring that all designs meet rigorous performance standards.
