Position Overview: We are looking for a Software Developer to work on Voomi’s scalable eCommerce platform. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data teams to design and implement key features, focusing on performance optimization, automation, and integration with external marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and Integration:
○ Implement scalable, microservices-based solutions.
○ Develop APIs and services for integration with platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and eBay.
○ Build workflows to automate data synchronization across multiple sales channels.
Data Systems and Operations:
○ Maintain and optimize ETL pipelines to process product data (supplier feeds, CSV, APIs).
○ Implement algorithms for data quality (deduplication, validation, attribute
normalization).
Platform Optimization:
○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform performance and
scalability.
○ Contribute to ongoing improvements in search, content enrichment, and product
recommendations.
Automation and Innovation:
○ Explore and implement AI/ML-based solutions to improve efficiency and reduce
manual operations.
○ Develop tools to automate routine tasks, including order processing and product
updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of software development experience.
Technical Skills:
○ Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
○ Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
○ Knowledge of data processing (ETL pipelines, databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB). ○ Familiarity with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform is a plus.
Additional Skills:
○ Understanding of eCommerce ecosystems, including marketplace integrations. ○ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
○ Effective communication and collaboration in agile environments.
