You are a motivated individual with experience in fast-paced, physical environments — you thrive in roles that require you to engage actively in day-to-day operations. You take ownership of your assigned shifts, ensuring that warehouse and kitchen processes run smoothly while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. You understand the importance of quality and accountability, especially when it comes to handling inventory and equipment. You have a knack for leading teams, guiding Operations Associates through their shifts, and ensuring productivity.
Experience in a fulfillment center or similar environment is a plus, as is familiarity with food preparation processes. You are someone who enjoys working collaboratively and can communicate effectively with both customers and team members. You are adaptable and can handle challenges that arise during shifts, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
As a Shift Lead at DoorDash, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the DashMart. This includes managing the fulfillment of customer orders, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all safety and cleanliness protocols are followed. You will lead a team of Operations Associates, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure that shifts run smoothly. Your role will involve actively engaging with team members to foster a productive work environment and addressing any issues that may arise during operations.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are delivered with high quality. This means executing orders accurately, communicating with customers when issues arise, and making sure Dasher pickups go smoothly. You will take ownership of your assigned shifts, maintaining accountability for all aspects of the operation, including equipment and company assets.
