Job Description

Are you passionate about building and leading high-performing product teams that transform how Amazon's leaders make strategic talent decisions? Amazon's Senior Leader Experience team is seeking an exceptional Senior Manager, Product Manager - Technical to lead a team of PMTs building our enterprise-wide workforce planning solution.

You'll lead the product vision and execution for a unified platform that transforms how leaders align talent investments with business needs. This is a unique opportunity to build new capabilities from the ground up, leveraging AI and machine learning without operational dependencies on existing infrastructure. You'll work in a high-visibility, high-ambiguity environment with direct interaction with senior leaders, rapidly prototyping in the AI space.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PMT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and customer obsession
- Own the overall product portfolio strategy and roadmap for workforce planning systems that integrate Finance, HR, and business operations data
- Drive product vision across multiple products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Design and build integrated planning systems that handle complex workforce scenarios with embedded AI-driven recommendations
- Create intuitive interfaces that make sophisticated planning accessible to business leaders
- Partner with Finance, HR, and business teams to enable real-time workforce modeling and decision-making
- Launch new features and customer experiences while tracking key performance metrics across the portfolio
- Deliver regular status updates to stakeholders and drive project execution from concept to completion
- Lead cross-functional initiatives, influencing senior leaders through exceptional written narratives
- Make critical technical trade-offs on complex, enterprise-scale systems architecture
- Navigate financial modeling and budget alignment with Finance partners
- Hire and develop top talent, building a world-class product management organization
- Maintain product quality standards while operating in highly ambiguous environments


About the team
The Senior Leader Experience team helps leaders connect business strategy to executive talent strategy, ensuring the right leaders are in the right roles at the right time.

Your team will be working to integrate historically disconnected systems to create a unified, trusted data platform. We work closely with Finance, HR, and business leaders to enable modeling, planning, and evaluation of workforce decisions using embedded intelligence.- 6+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
