Accela is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing and Strategy to shape the company's outbound product narrative and market positioning. This role requires strong strategic product marketing skills and collaboration with various teams to support growth in the govtech sector.
You have extensive experience in product marketing and strategy, ideally within the technology sector, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. You excel in translating complex market insights into actionable product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Your background includes working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to drive cohesive storytelling and support business growth.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to run ongoing market and competitive intelligence effectively. You can identify emerging opportunities and buyer behaviors, translating these insights into clear implications for product strategy. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to represent the product strategy narrative in discussions with analysts and customers alike.
You are a strategic thinker who can provide structured input into high-level conversations with executive leadership. You understand the importance of aligning product positioning with market signals and competitive trends, ensuring that your strategies are informed and impactful.
Experience in the govtech landscape is a plus, as is familiarity with procurement patterns and competitive trends in this sector. A proven track record of building differentiated content and supporting sales with competitive positioning will set you apart.
In this role, you will own the product positioning, value propositions, and solution messaging across Accela's priority products and verticals. You will partner with the Marketing team to create compelling content, including solution overviews, sales decks, and product collateral that resonate with target audiences. Your efforts will support the Sales team in framing strategic deals and crafting customer-facing product narratives that highlight the value of Accela's solutions.
You will lead ongoing market and competitive analysis, ensuring that your insights inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Your ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable strategies will be crucial in shaping Accela's outbound product narrative. You will also represent Accela in discussions with analysts and at industry events, ensuring that the company's product strategy is well understood and effectively communicated.
