Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions that drive business value. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to develop robust data pipelines and ensure data quality throughout the data lifecycle. You are familiar with modern data stacks and have hands-on experience with tools like Snowflake and dbt, which you have used to create and optimize dimensional data models.

Your background includes working in cloud environments, particularly with Azure, where you have configured and managed CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes. You understand data governance principles and have implemented effective data governance practices, including cataloging and lineage tracking. Your strong coding skills and experience with data cleansing, transformation, and integration make you a valuable asset to any team.

You possess advanced English communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and international clients. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and usability across all projects. You thrive in environments that challenge you to innovate and improve data processes.

Desirable

Experience with Apache Airflow and Spark is a plus, as is familiarity with data quality practices and implementation methods. You are always eager to learn and stay updated with the latest trends in data engineering and cloud technologies.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Engineer at CI&T, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to process large volumes of data efficiently. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability, implementing and maintaining data quality measures throughout the data lifecycle. Your role will involve creating and optimizing dimensional data models to support analytical needs and developing and maintaining Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions for our clients.

You will implement data governance practices, ensuring that data is cataloged and tracked for lineage. Additionally, you will configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes, ensuring that data flows smoothly from source to destination. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet those requirements. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be essential in this role. You will also mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers.
